Earlier this week I had the privilege to be over at Pattern Revolution sharing a review of the too cool for school Solis Tunic & Dress from Sofilantjes Patterns. It is sporty and flirty, and perfectly Peanut.

Inside Out for Lunch!
The first day outfit is done. The backpack is done. And now, the lunchbox is done. It's the end of September and she's finally ready for school. What?
Mo's Comfy-Fit Unders & Trainers for Pattern Revolution
I love these colors: the pale coral-y pink, the icy mint, the bright ribbed coral, the simple black & white stripes. I can't find fabric like this at my local fabric stores. And wait till you see where I found the fabric!
The Lottie Skirt for Pattern Revolution
Today I'm once again over at Pattern Revolution. This time I'm sharing a review of the lovely, tailored Lottie Skirt from Brownie-Goose Designs in this gorgeous, red, graphic print.
The Charlotte Dress for Pattern Revolution
Today I'm thrilled to announced that I've joined the team over at Pattern Revolution! My first review, The Charlotte Dress from My Childhood Treasures, went up this past Sunday.
Pattern Review: Phresh Blazer from Winter Wear Designs
Today I'm flexing my critiquing muscles with my first Pattern Review: the Phresh Blazer by Suzanne Winter of Winter Wear Designs. Originally part of the Girl's Bundle Up from Pattern Revolution, it is now available as a single pattern.*
Bundle Up! It's a New Spring Coat
Around this time last year I attempted a new light-weight coat for The Peanut. She's been wearing a coat I sewed for her over three years ago. But when I attempted the new coat last Spring, I was working from a Big 4 pattern and failed to check her measurements against their size chart. A year later it is still comically large across her shoulders and it remains a UFO (Un-Finished Object). Thank heavens for independent patterns, the Bundle Up! blog tour, and the Penny Vintage Coat by Ellie Inspired; finally, a new Spring coat.
Muse of the Morning Girl's Tee Reviewed
When I started blogging I really thought I'd be on my own island in the vast sea of the internet, sending out messages in a bottle hoping someone, anyone would read them. I still get a thrill just seeing that people are reading (and following!). But when I'm contacted to participate in a blog hop or review a pattern, I'm downright flattered. That's not to say I'm easy, I still choose reviews and group activities carefully and thoughtfully. When I was asked to review a pattern from Muse of the Morning, I admit I wasn't familiar with Chrissy's patterns. So I went and had a look. I immediately saw a great opportunity to mix a utilitarian gray knit with feminine shoulders on the Practically Perfect Girl's Tee Shirt. When something like that pops into my head so quickly and easily, I go with it. I love it when it comes out even better than I first saw in my mind's eye.
