I realize it's been all crochet all the time around these parts lately, but I am still sewing! And here's the proof...
Today I'm over at Melly Sews as part of the Blank Slate Sewing Team sharing this Zippy (Sweater) Jacket. It is the perfect pattern for the fabric (bonded sweater knit!) and for The Peanut ...you'll just have to follow the link to see the full jacket on her. I took a leap of faith under a tight deadline to sew in a fabric not recommended by the pattern -- and it worked! It's another example of me sewing for her that which I should probably just sew for myself; except in this case she really loves it, too. Go see!
|I'll always be a sucker for a good circle pocket.|
You should really see all that goes into each project!
From my marathon sewing sessions, to all that I do when I #shouldhavebeensewing catch daily updates on Instagram (and Flickr) of works-in-progress. Get that behind the scenes view you’re looking for, and sneak peeks of upcoming tutorials, too.
