Today I'm privileged to be over at the Oliver + S blog to share my favorite pattern. Do you know it?
I should have saved this Oliver + S in chambray with color-pop for the next First Day of School as is our tradition; see here, here, and here. But sometimes I get something in my head and I just need to get it out at my machine! Ever since I made that gingham shirt-dress I've been itching to whip one up in chambray. And then this perfect orange-with-blue-flowers jumped into my cart at the fabric store and I just couldn't wait until second grade to stitch it up!
Oh hi, blurry hand. Do you ever stop moving, child?! And this was before her chocolate payment. |
But that's okay, because sewing yet another Jump Rope dress helped me conclude that it really is my favorite O + S pattern. Head on over to Oliver + S to see my other Jump Rope sews and read why exactly I love it so. (Hint: The placket, it's all about the placket.)
But then come back next week! Because I'm currently sewing yet another Jump Rope -- this time for Easter complete with bunny buttons of adorableness -- and I can't wait to show you! Once it's finished, of course. In the meantime, why are you still here? Go!
