The Inspired Wren Pages

Inspire Us Thursday, October 23!

Time to show it off and link it up! Link up your creations in fiber: sewing, cross-stitch, embroidery, knitting, crochet, the fiber of your choice. It's Inspire Us Thursday!

Today, click on the project just before yours -- that one's pretty easy, but click even if it doesn't look like your cup of tea. Take some time to see what another creator is producing and let them know you visited. If we only fill our creative wells with projects and styles like our own, our wells, and therefore our work, will become stagnant. Time to look around and see what else is out there.

And speaking of filling our creative wells be sure to visit my brand new page on Facebook (me? true!) and in addition to sharing what's happening here on the blog and behind the scenes, I'll be sharing little bits and pieces of inspiration as I find them. It's kind of lonely over there right now, but I'm busy pumping out sewing for Kids Clothes Week anyway.

Last week's most viewed link: Oh my! Click through to see the details of this gorgeous Shawl by Tales from Trish. I love the open lace pattern and the colorway.

You all have a wonderful eye for finding the best projects each week. The most viewed link from the previous party will be featured here. But I also highlight other projects and creations that catch my eye on Facebook and Pinterest.

If you've been featured here or on Facebook grab the "Proud Feature" button for your blog!

GUIDELINES:

Keep to the medium of fiber.

Basically anything with fabric, thread, floss, or yarn is welcome—sewing of all kinds (sew), cross-stitch & embroidery (needle), knitting (stitch), crochet (hook).

Showcase your own work.

Please no link parties, giveaways, or advertisements.

Upload up to three links per week.

You can also link-up images from Flickr, Pinterest, and Instagram (as long as it's your own uploaded work); so even if you don't have a blog of your own, you can still inspire others and get feedback by sharing your work with us here. But please avoid repetition from week to week, or even within the same week.

That's it! Easy, peasy, pumpkin spicy! If you see something you like, be polite and let the creator know with comments on their blog. And now it's your turn to link up!

You should really see all that goes into each project!
Updates on Instagram (and Flickr) of works-in-progress will give you that behind the scenes view you’re looking for, and sneak peeks of First Tuesday Tutorials, too.
