PICTRIAL: Summer Sherbet Crochet Planter
When I set out to create summer inspired crochet planters, two things popped in my head: ridges and bright colors. It wasn't until after I purchased the yarn and plopped it in my basket that I was reminded of rainbow sherbet. Then, after I set the finished planter down and stepped back, I realized the horizontal ridges are reminiscent of that classic childhood craft, yarn wrapped cans. I love these! What a joyful combination of memories these bring back! I'm so happy they greet me every time I walk up to my kitchen sink. Bring some joy to your plants with a Summer Sherbet Crochet Planter Cover of your own!

PICTORIAL: Spring Bunny Crochet Planter Cover
I'm having a lot of fun creating seasonal planter covers for my two, couldn't-kill-them-if-I-tried, 4"-potted plants. So far I've donned them in sweaters and decked them in Santa's red & white. But now the days are finally longer, the air is warming, and Spring is around the corner. I've hooked up a few Spring Bunnies just in time for Easter. And you can, too!

Couch Craft: Holiday Crochet Planter Cover (with Pattern!)
It's almost time to deck the halls with red and green! (I know last week I was all "Halloween, YAY!," and now I'm all "Christmas, WooHoo!," and you're all "I'm getting whiplash over here and what about Thanksgiving anyway?" Welcome to my brain.) The end of November means it's time to change out the crochet planter covers in my kitchen. This month while watch-listening to TV I crocheted up a few Santa-inspired sleeves so my plants can spread the Christmas cheer, and I've written it down so you can, too.

Couch Craft: Tiny Crochet Hat, Perfect (and Quick!)
Brand new babies are the best. I know one scheduled to arrive in less than a week. Eight months ago I made a pair of too cute pants for this not-yet-newborn. But as his arrival gets closer I couldn't help but make him a little something else.
